'She was alone in the street completely soaked': Rottweiler puppy found in the rain by kind humans who feel like they've won the puppy jackpot

A dreary, rainy Sunday morning becomes a jackpot for both a kind person and an innocent puppy.

A rottweiler left alone to fend for itself. It's hard to believe the unscrupulous acts of some folk. Whether this was an accident or otherwise is unclear, all we know is that the puppy distribution system gifted a caring person an adorable furry friend for the journey of life. She was left alone in the rain, soaking wet, and not in the best condition. This person immediately took her in and gave her some much needed tender, love, and care. She slept all the next day indoors for what was probably the first time in her life. After a vet visit, it was discovered she's only four weeks old. Meet Holly!

“We Found a Puppy in the Middle of the Street”
Found this little girl on a rainy Sunday morning while heading out for work. She was alone in the street, completely soaked, covered in mud, and infested with fleas to the point her skin was raw. After a careful cleanup, flea treatment, and a much-needed meal, she spent the rest of the day sleeping safely indoors for what felt like the first time in her life.
The vet estimates she’s only about four weeks old, weighs just 2.5 pounds, and thankfully is doing much better than expected. No microchip, no owner, and no claims… so I guess fate had other plans. Meet Holly, our newest family member ❤️🐾
We’re still hoping to find her mom or any littermates nearby, but for now we’re focused on giving her the best start possible. Since this is my first Rottweiler and I’ve mostly raised rescue mutts before, I’d love any advice—especially about puppy care, training, and introducing her to our other dog once she’s vaccinated.

Anyone who would “let her get away” at that age doesn’t deserve to have her. Stop looking for those people if you want this pup to have the life she deserves. Thank you for saving her.

Let the fun commence!! Be strict at first, set the boundaries as they need it but will make life so much easier in the long run.. best family dog I have ever had. Dopey, loyal, loving, emotional, funny.. you name it.. my girl was it! Something tells me this little one will be forever in your debt! She has the sweetest of eyes and already looking at you like you’re everything to her! Post regular updates
